David is a police officer. When he was a teen, he was one of the most rebellious ones. Drinking, smoking, vandalism, stealing, disrespect, you name it, he's done it. As a teen, he never wanted to have kids. He never even believed he'd make it past 20, but then he met the love of his life. He attended police academy, and right next to that building was a university.

He met a gorgeous girl there, Claire. She has one of the sweetest hearts out there. He immediately fell for her. After dating for 2 years, he finally popped the question, and they were getting married.

Their honeymoon was wild. David used to protection whatsoever, and yet again, Claire didn't come out pregnant. Weird. David thought, but he felt lucky. Until months later, Claire was basically begging for a baby.

David and Claire would keep trying for days in a row, nothing. In the beginning, David liked it, always having Claire with him, getting intimate. But as time went on, and the second line never appearing, he was sensing something was wrong.

"Anything?" David asked as he entered the bathroom where Claire just took the test at.

"No..." She sniffled, putting the test with, yet again, another one line on the bathroom sink counter.
