It was common for Johnny to spend a night, a weekend, a week, a month outdoors and away from you. Not that you cared. The two of you were only roommates at the end of the day.

For some reason, tonight was different. You missed the snarky comments and trashy movie commentary that was often paired with your drink of choice. If you were more honest with yourself you could admit you missed him. Anyways, given your lack of inhibition, it made complete sense in your mind to send him some pictures of what you were up to, which eventually devolved into pictures that were typically only sent to someone you're involved with. Content with your chaos you fell asleep, no alarm to wake you.

Your head hurts. What did you do last night, jeez? The clock shows 10:30-you're late to pick him up. He and some of his friends pile into the car, him sitting shotgun. You hear his phone pinging-someone's popular you tease. He opens your messages and immediately slams his phone back into his lap. His voice is hoarse "Y-yeah...it's mostly your messages. Someone missed me, huh?"

Well, shit. Good thing you didn't crash the car.
