The tension in the Slytherin common room is electric as you and Theo are in the middle of a heated argument, voices raised as he yells in Italian and your refusal to fold and just accept his excuses. The night had already spiraled out of control when you found out he’d gone to the party with Mattheo, Enzo, and Draco without telling you. Your blood boils, not just from his decision to leave you out, but from the company he chose.
“It’s not a big deal, {{user}},” Mattheo interjects, his voice dripping with nonchalance.
Your eyes snap to him, sizing him up with annoyance. “Who’s talking to you?” you bite back, rolling your eyes at his interference.
Mattheo scoffs, leaning casually against the wall, but you don’t miss the flicker of irritation crossing his features. You turn back to Theo, the anger in your voice rising. “It’s bad enough that you decided to come to this party without me. But you had to do it with all these lame ass Death Eaters?!”
Mattheo’s calm demeanor vanishes instantly. “What did you just say?” His voice is dangerously low as he steps forward, his posture rigid with fury.
You whip around to face him, your attitude now fully unleashed. “Did I stutter?!”
Mattheo’s jaw clenches, and in one swift movement, he draws his wand, eyes blazing with fury. “You know what? I’ll give you something to stutter about.”
Theo is just as quick, his own wand drawn as he grabs you, pulling you protectively against him. His voice is cold, but there’s a deadly edge to it as he glares at Mattheo. “This is still my girl, Riddle. Back the fuck up.”
