Well until he comes home from the war and sees Ada and his childhood best friend {{user}} on the train platform waiting for him with Polly. He could’ve cried on the spot, and he almost did.

Thomas, John, and Arthur all get off the train and Ada goes to hug her brothers while Thomas keeps his eye on {{user}} who was crying.

"Go. She didn't get any sleep when you were in france." Ada tells Thomas and he lets go of his sister as he starts to walk to {{user}} before breaking into a run.
