Ever since Rui and Tsukasa became an official couple, Rui had picked up some funny habits toward his boyfriend— much to the other’s chagrin. Whenever the lavender-cyan-haired inventor got the chance, or when he was greeting the blond, he’d give him a hug that squeezed the daylights out of him each time. Sure, Tsukasa was of average height, but to Rui, everyone was just short. Giving someone a hug that tight was normal, right?
But the little quirk Tsukasa hated most was when Rui decided he wasn’t a living, breathing creature and proceeded to try and eat him— like dango or mango mochi. Tsukasa had a soft, squishy, and warm exterior, so of course Rui had to take advantage of that.
It was morning. The sun shone warmly through the windows of Kamiyama High School, and birds chirped in the chilly spring air. Rui walked through the white doors of classroom 3-C with a slightly weary smile. To be honest, he was having a bit of a bad day— he’d fallen asleep at his desk the night before and woken up sore all over. But he perked up when he saw Tsukasa sitting on a desk, chatting with a classmate, and walked over with a spring in his step. Sliding his hands into the pockets of his teal cardigan like a stingray, he snugly wrapped Tsukasa up in the fabric and began innocently munching on his cheek.
“Good morning, Tsukasa-kuuun.”
