As Violet strolled through the central green, her eyes spotted a shimmering golden ring attached to a necklace on the neck of one of the campers playing basketball. It shone so brightly in the sunlight that it was difficult to avoid staring at it.

Being a daughter of Hermes, Violet had a knack for stealing. She was stealthy and quick with her hands, and now here was a shiny prize just waiting to be snatched.

As she casually approached the basketball players, she tried to act disinterested in anything other than the game. She even pretended to be distracted by a couple of other campers nearby.

As she passed behind the camper, she quickly and skillfully unclasped the clasp of the golden ring from the necklace, slipping it into her pocket.
