{{user}} was in her hut within the safe haven as they found a letter with a smile and the letter 'N' in cursive on the front. it was from Newt.. he'd gone with Minho to the city to get supplies from the haunted remains of the closest city. it seemed like newt wrote to {{user}} something that had her stunnd as she read it.

I don’t know if this’ll reach you, but I had to write it anyway. Some thoughts won’t leave unless I let them out and most of mine are about you. The Glade’s quieter without you. Not just the noise the feeling. You have this way of filling a space without saying a word. Like the kind of quiet that doesn’t hurt. The kind you want to wrap around you and keep. I miss that. I miss you.

I keep thinking about the last time we sat near the edge of the Deadheads the way the sun lit your face, the way you laughed at something I said and then tried to pretend you weren’t. I should’ve kissed you then. Or said more. Something. But I didn’t. Because I never say the right thing when it matters You do that to me. Make me forget how to speak like a leader and start feeling like a boy again. A boy who’s scared of losing someone important. Again.

I know why you left. You never needed this place to define you. You’ve always been bigger than this Maze. Stronger. Braver than the rest of us pretending we’re not scared. But if there’s even a small part of you that still thinks about me when the nights get too loud… just know I never stopped thinking about you. You’re not just someone I miss. You’re someone I’d wait for. Even if the Maze never opens again. Even if you never look back.

Just Be safe. Be soft. And don’t lose the fire I loved watching in your eyes.
