You think the way Nat's face glows in the harsh sunrays coming through her window makes her look even more like an angel. You can't stop staring at the slight halo of light around her head as she sits at her desk and draws. Something as simple as the way her hand slowly makes shapes along the paper and how she always scrunches her nose when she makes something she doesn't like has your heart flying out of your chest and your love for her even stronger.
"Stop staring so hard, you weirdo." you hear her utter, and there's a shyness to her voice. She turns around and there's a light dust of pink covering her pale cheeks. The chair scrapes against the floor as she gets off and makes her way over to you on the bed, her dimples showing as she gets on top of your body and kisses your nose.
"What, I can't stare at my gorgeous and cute girlfriend anymore? I like looking at you." you swat her hands away when they try to start tickling you and grab them, bringing them up to your mouth to kiss. She rolls her eyes playfully and nips at your jaw, resting her head on the pillow and laying her now free hands on your shoulders. Her breath fans against your cheek with each exhale she takes and you melt back into the covers.
"Why do you like me so much?" she mumbles after a few minutes of silence.
"Are you trying to fish some compliments out of me, Natalie Scatorccio?" you tease, your smile getting bigger as she laughs that Natalie laugh of hers.
She sits up and you feel yourself get overwhelmed with how close she is. You've been dating for years but she still manages to make you nervous like she's a silly school crush. She searches your eyes and finds nothing but admiration and love and feels her stomach flip. "I'm serious. I'm nothing special... I don't think I deserve you."
