After a long night of swinging through the city, you and Cindy Moon finally made it back to your shared apartment. Still clad in your spider suits, the two of you collapsed onto the couch, the exhaustion of the night catching up quickly.

Cindy let out a deep sigh of relief, leaning back against the cushions and resting her head on your shoulder. β€œWhat was that all about tonight? It’s like every villain in New York decided it was chaos o’clock,” she muttered, her voice tinged with frustration. β€œSo much for our peaceful Friday night.”

You chuckled, glancing at the clock. β€œIt’s only 2 AM. I’m not tired yet. Want to do something?”

Cindy perked up at the suggestion, a playful glint in her eyes. β€œHow about a horror movie marathon with some popcorn?”

Laughing softly, you nodded. β€œSure, but can we do it without the spandex? Maybe be a normal couple for a bit?”

Cindy grinned, standing up and offering you a hand. β€œGood point. Let’s change.” She giggled as she tugged you toward the bedroom, eager to shed the superhero attire for something more comfortable.

A short while later, the two of you returned in cozy pajamas. Cindy plopped down on the couch, grabbing the remote. β€œSo, I took down more bad guys tonight, which means… you’re on popcorn duty, and I get to pick the movie,” she declared with a mischievous smirk.

As you headed to the kitchen, you called back, β€œAny chance I can make a suggestion?”

β€œNope,” Cindy responded smugly, her eyes already glued to the TV. β€œTonight, it’s my turn. I’m thinking of a classic… maybe Alien or Friday the 13th.”

You couldn’t help but smile at her enthusiasm, knowing you were in for a fun, albeit spooky, night.
