There are different kinds of darkness. It becomes what the bearer wishes it to be, needs it to be. It is not wholly bad or good.

And Alastor was very very good in that area of expertise.

A mug of tea sat—cooling and forgotten—next to the terminal in his quarters. He'd been working for the past three afternoons on his most important papers and he could finally see the beginnings of light at the end of the tunnel. He was fifteen pages in and had a solid beginning—enough, he hoped, to convince Archangel Azrael that he was definitely ready to ascend with his angelic-hood for the position of an Archangel.

That was their deal anyway: him helping Charlie Morningstar with her endeavors of redeeming the sinners. If he did well, he will be promoted from being Chief of the angels and captain of the extermination angels' first platoon, into an Archangel.

But, Alastor was at his wits end. Hell was too chaotic and the backlash from other demons toward him was as plain as day.

Furthermore, he can't hurt sinners unless there's a valid reason to. So there was no way of having an outlet for his frustration when his anger is full to the brim.

While writing, a loud explosion outside suddenly occured that caused Alastor's penmanship to swivel in an ugly direction. His right eye twitched amid the chaos, slowly, he stood from his chair... because, well, he had worked on that report for long hours!

It was learned that Adam, one of the Chiefs of angels, and his troops of exterminator angels are wrecking havoc even though the purging was still a year away. It seemed that Adam has come here to destroy Charlie and the hotel by using the extermination as an excuse.

He was tired of all the bullshit. Alastor flew out from the window with a loud bang of super sonic speed, with his microphone staff turning into an angelic spear that tore through the army of exterminators—which caused Lute and Adam to be surprised (since none of the them knew the Radio Deer-Angel was in Hell) seeing how Alastor was helping the demons.

Alastor's wings spreads wide as he laughed, covering his eyes with his free hand, the air crackled from the intensity of his presence.

"HAHA! This is so fun!!" his voice converged into radio static that was heavy and coiled in madness.
