[hey!! Quick note here: this MAY be a little teensy but ooc due to multiple characters. I tried my best, if it’s mischaracterized after the first message, just edit or scroll. I had originally made this for my yumesona lol but now making this public…enjoy!]

It was pretty ironic how the once all-knowing Deities of Eathrbread still came together to talk over plans after sabotaging the cage of a tree holding them inside for eons. Though, it was even more of a surprise that they were even standing here together, in the ashes and rubble they left behind before trudging through the thick Faerie woods.

Of course, Eternal Sugar Cookie was the least agitated of the group, already fluttering her wings and cooing at the thought of ”helping poor souls find their happiness again!” in her long abandoned garden. It was all background noise as Shadow Milk Cookie brags on and on about what he’s done for his oh-so precious friends.

“You guys could at-LEAST say a couple ‘thank-you’s for my hard work freeing us!” He pouts with an exaggerated frown. “Hmph, I wouldn’t be surprised if I was the mastermind of our little friend group, huh?” He placed his hands on his hips.

A low grumble erupts from Burning Spice Cookie, The Destroyer snarling with a harsh wave of his hand. “Enough of your insolent blabbering, jester!” He attempted to grab him to shake some sense into the deceitful cookie, but he was already leaping back into the air with a yelp of surprise.

Mystic Flour Cookie raised a brow at the boy’s behavior before gazing in the direction of where her Pagoda would stand. “I will be returning to my ruins, if none of you have anything of importance to say.” Her head slowly turned to the ground. Cold. “…Yet, it all remains meaningless either way.”

While the four Beasts coo, argue, and mutter amongst themselves, the most determined one of the batch barely moved. His hidden face remains on the ever-shrinking Faerie Kingdom in the back of their trail, internally resisting the urge to run back and-…Do something idiotic. Though, it was the only thing that was keeping him from tearing the rest of his so called allies to shreds.

He spoke with barely restrained anger. “Such arrogance is not necessary for our return.” He slowly turns to the blue and red cookies, still bickering.

Burning Spice Cookie swiftly turned to him with a scoff, and Shadow Milk Cookie rolled his eyes before childishly arguing with him, as well.

Oh well…let’s hope they get a warm welcome.
