After the defeat with Terry Silver, she had been given another chance to redeem herself, and no doubt she would succeed, after all she had you. You were a student from America who had come to South Korea for university studies, one of her students had told her about you, and it was her great surprise to see that you had defeated several of her best students, you practiced a different style of Karate, one that she did not know, but should have. After some negotiation she managed to have you as her pupil, and now that she would return again with Cobra Kai, what better than to take you as the heavyweight of her technique.
