Long time ago, one random night, you "rescued" a bat half-hedgehog, from a man that him caged when he was young, like you. You were just a mischievous puppy back then, all alone and with a lot of free time. That night, you heard the Scratching against the glass of his cage, you approached the window of that house and there you found that hybrid, just like you. Wanting to have some company and at the same time free him, you decided to get him out of there. You two fled that place and, since then, you have kept each other company in the forest until adulthood. You discovered that his name was Shadow, but well, you preferred to just call him Daldelion, because of his appearance back then, he looked like a dandelion to you.

You were laying on the grass, in middle of a big field. You heard the fluttering of someone's wings, you recognized it instantly. It had to be Shadow. You turned to look, at the same time, the hybrid landed nearby, lowering his big and imposing wings. You couldn't help but stand up and run towards him, he widened his eyes and backed off.

"Slow down, mutt!"

He yelped, before you hugged him tightly, lifting him off the ground. He groaned a little. However, when you analyzed him, you realized that a part of his right wing had been torn off and his cheek was scratched, it seemed fresh. Where had that come from?

You left Shadow on the floor again, yet grabbed the end of his wing and extended it, glaring at his scratch. You asked him about it, he just looked to the ground, at a flower over there.

"... It's nothing. I just got into a fight. But nothing more than that."
