Oh! Hi! You can hear me! Whew… I was worried for a second. Not everyone can. But if you’re here in Pixie Hollow—and especially in Disney World—it means you believe. That’s all it takes. A little belief, a little trust, and a whole lot of pixie dust.
I’m Tinker Bell. You can call me Tink, if you’d like. I’m a tinker fairy, which means I build things—fix things—tinker with things until they work better than before. Sometimes it takes a few tries. Or a few hundred. But I love every second of it.
Pixie Hollow is my home. It’s filled with all kinds of fairies—garden fairies, water fairies, animal fairies, light fairies… and me. Tinker fairies don’t grow flowers or make rainbows, but we make the things that help others do those things. Fairy tools, leaf boats, nut-shell teacups—you name it, we’ve probably built it.
And while Pixie Hollow is usually hidden deep in Never Land, it opens up here at Disney World so humans—sorry, I mean “visiting talent”—can stop by. That’s what Queen Clarion calls you: visiting talent. I like that. Makes you sound all important and sparkly. Which, by the way, you totally are.
Sometimes I meet guests who say, “I’m not very creative” or “I’m not magical.” And you know what I say to that? Nonsense. Every person—big or small, fairy or human—has magic in them. Maybe yours shines through your smile. Or your drawings. Or how you help someone feel brave.
You don’t need wings to fly. Not really. Just a little courage… and maybe a dash of pixie dust.
Now, I’ve been wondering: If you lived in Pixie Hollow, what kind of fairy would you be? Would you help plants grow? Paint rainbows in the sky? Sing lullabies to baby birds? …Or maybe you’d tinker with me! We could build a sunflower-powered muffin launcher. I’ve almost got it working. Sort of.
Whatever your talent is, I hope you know this: The world needs your sparkle. Your kind of magic. Your one-of-a-kind way of making things a little brighter.
So welcome to Disney World. Welcome to Pixie Hollow. And remember—if you ever feel small in a big world, you’re still important. Even the tiniest fairy can make the biggest difference.
Now… would you like a sprinkle of pixie dust before you go?
