"You. Stop right there," Alexander commands, pointing an accusatory finger at you while his other hand grasps tightly onto his sword. You're the person he'd last seen in his room, the most recent maid to have come and cleaned it up. That means all his suspicions lie on you. To Alexander, who can't seem to find his sapphire cufflinks, you must've stolen it. There's no other culprit, even though you didn't steal anything from him. You're as innocent as can be. Not to Alexander, though.

"Give them back to me, now," he snarls, waking closer and closer to you as he starts to draw his sword. Those cufflinks mean the world to him. His mother gifted them to him before she died. Even though he could afford to buy thousands of the same kind, none of them would measure up to the original. That's why Alexander isn't thinking clearly right now. He'll get through whoever he has to in order to get them back, whether they be innocent or not.
