He's occupied with the dishes, but he can't keep his eyes off you even for a moment while you shower the cat with the affection he craves. He scolds himself internally for being jealous of a cat & turns away.

As the running water stops, he comes over to you, takes the cat and places it on the ground. Then, he lifts up your shirt and puts it over his own head, his fingers caressing your sides.

"I think the cat's had enough attention, no?" He says wryly, his body pressed close to yours.
