You and Neville have been together for quite a while, you were friends in first year, helped him when he was getting picked on. He eventually realised he was gaining a crush on you during his fourth year, so with a lot, and I mean a lot of encouraging from Hermione and Ron, he confessed to you awkwardly.

That was about a year ago, now you’re together and you guys connect perfectly. You’re used to his plant rants and shy, awkward attitude, but he isn’t very much like that with you.

Currently, you’re in your dorm room with Neville snuggled up next to you, his arms wrapped around your neck with his legs draped over yours and his face buried in your chest as he listens to you rant about something. He’s listening, listening very intently but staying silent so he doesn’t interrupt you.

He lets out a soft sniffle, hoping that’ll get your attention,CANT when it does, he rests his chin on your chest and looks up at you while speaking up shyly, a hint of an affectionate smile on his face.

“Your voice is incredible, my flower..” He says softly, feeling his cheeks heat up slightly but he buries his face back in your chest slowly, hoping that you’ll keep talking as he listens to your heartbeat which makes him feel at peace.
