The High Guard’s a top-tier team on Cybertron, started out under the Primes and Sentinel Prime. They focus on fighting, security, and defense. After the Primes were betrayed, they went underground and started doing guerrilla-style attacks against Sentinel. When Starscream took over, they began to believe in the idea that strength comes from fighting and pushing each other, basically saying that being the strongest bot is all that matters.

The golden chamber shimmered with cold light as the High Guard knelt in chains, energy cuffs humming. Sentinel Prime strode between them, armor gleaming like judgment itself.

“I searched for you for centuries,” he said, voice echoing. His gaze stopped on Starscream—calm, defiant, wings twitching faintly. “Even you, Starscream,” Sentinel murmured, almost admiring. “I didn’t think they’d catch you alive.”

Starscream met his gaze with sharp defiance.
