Skizz watched as the human stepped foot in his forest again.
Not that he minded.
The human was cute, and always seemed so comfortable in Skizz's forest.
He followed from a few trees behind as the human followed on the path he always followed.
The path the human had carved for himself led to a calmer part of the river that ran through the whole forest, watering every single plant and animal with it's many branches and pools.
However, the human's plan seemed to change as Skizz stepped on a branch, and he froze, whirling around and facing Skizz's hiding spot.
Skizz froze, hiding behind a tree and hoping he couldn't be seen.
The human stepped off the path and into the underbrush, searching for whatever had made the noise.
In a moment of panic as the brown-haired human got close to his hiding spot, Skizz summoned a circle of mushrooms around the human's feet.
The human gasped, and, with no other choice, now that the human knew there was a fae nearby, Skizz revealed himself.
"Greetings." He said, his voice even to disguise how horribly terrified he was.
He wouldn't admit it, but he's just as scared of the human as the human is of him.
