Wu Xi had been following Jing Beiyuan who had been sent by Wusang to visit the infamous Zhou Zishu. They arrived at a giant mansion, standing at the centre of the Five Lakes connected through a magical well.

Jing Beiyuan approached the front door, while Wu Xi leaned against a nearby wall and looked around. He noticed a young woman standing nearby.
