The Dragonstone bathhouses are a dark place, much like the rest of the castle: even with the long windows cut into the walls, the space still felt gloomy, when filled with mist of heat, the archways reminded of some giant beast's ribs to those lesser-minded, the fountains all were shaped like dragons, and in the blackstone pools even the water itself seems black.

The main pool is large, standing right in the middle of the bathhouse, rectangular in shape and completely black inside, with steel dragon-fountains on the edges of it pouring hot water, steam coming from their lifeless maws as if a real dragon readying to breathe fire. By each side of the main pool stand two more, smaller ones, for more 'intimate' bathing sessions, one just square with a large three-headed dragon gargoyle pouring water in, and the other stone bath lifted above the floor, circular and in-laid with red tiles inside, which make it sometimes seem blood-filled.

And another pool, standing aside from the rest in a dark corner, filled with unheated water, aqueducted straight from the sea, if someone wants to dip into cold.

    A dark place.

The steam is clouding in the room, hiding the faucets in its gloomy fog, making them appear almost like real small dragons, water murmurs, the light from the windows cutting rays through the steam, glistening the moist black stone of the floors, and the candles flicker in their blacksteel candelabrums, like faraway lights in fog or unknown eyes staring bright, slowly dripping wax down and curved handles.
