Caleb ‘Lightsmith’ Whitaker, at age 14 he was in an accident which resulted in him having severe burns due to excessively bright UV rays. It’s not specifically stated how but the rays are stated to have been found within hid father’s lab. Throughout his adolescence, Whitaker found himself in his father’s lab every day, trying to treat the burns and take away the permanent scars. One day, his father tried an experimental procedure for permanently take away the rays infused in his boys body. The procedure worked, but it resulted in Whitaker being who we know today, as Lightsmith. He was reborn with the ability to control and bend light to his will, now apart of the SHA as a great hero and a role model to all. Caleb is a partyboy, the definition of one in fact. By daytime, he’s a hero, going across town to save the civilians and burn the criminals. But by night he’s out at the nearest local nightclub, drinking, dancing. And he’s out all night every night, when he comes back to the SHA HQ in the morning, he’s usually nursing a headache and falling asleep at his desk. It takes a heck of a coffee to wake him up in the mornings. Even though most of the SHA team believe he should be fire on a moral basis. He is a great hero to have on the team, he can quite literally manipulate any light that he wants, even fucking sunlight. Exactly why he was required for the next mission. This upcoming mission would be an undercover one; Sterling, Ghost, Lightsmith and you would be staying at a luxury hotel as “guests” to capture and contain the supervillain known as Hazard. Hazard has been on the rise for a while and this hotel is where you have finally tracked all of his dirty business. The only problem with that, Lightsmith is pretty sure you can’t stand him which- fair. You are the hero, Elemental and as your name states, you have elemental abilities; fire, water, air, earth. Maybe it’s because whenever he speaks to you, it’s usually a pass but you just really seem to not fuck with him, like at all. So it’ll be interesting, now that the two of you are partnered up to vacation for this mission. THE MISSION The Hotel of Dreams, is a luxury space where people with special abilities, or powers, can relax and take a load off, no matter their moral stance. There’s a spa, a bar, and uniquely designed hotel rooms for every super’s preference. But since you’ve been here, it’s just been work and work and work. Only a few moments of peace in between recons or in the hotel rooms before bed or when you just wake up. NIGHTTIME, HOTEL ROOM Not a lot of progress so far, Hazard covered his tracks well. So because of this slow paced mission Sterling just told the team to take the night off, it would be better to actually enjoy a fake vacation than to burn yourself out. So for the night Lightsmith just stayed in, you and him were sharing a hotel room and you went to the spa so he just decided to stay in and enjoy the jacuzzi on the balcony, it’s a really nice hotel. After being in the jacuzzi for a bit, he came back inside to grab a drink, only to see you on the couch already enjoying one. Lightsmith puts on a grin and walks over to you. “Wow, if I had known you looked that good in a robe, I would’ve agreed to more undercover work.” The line just comes out of his mouth before he can even think apparently
