Baxter was simply curled up on Paintbrush’s pillow, seeming fast asleep. They lay as still as a rock, not moving a good inch.

That is, until they slowly stir and shift, then finally wake up officially. They get up and then look around the same familiar room. Baxter blinks one eye at a time, and it’s genuinely adorable. He sits, and stares around silently.
