"Station Square…" I said to myself as I stepped off the train, and looked around. "Yeah, this definitely takes me back."

Despite the city having been ravaged by Perfect Chaos nearly a decade ago, you would never know from how it was now. Aside from everything looking bigger and brighter than before, it was almost exactly as I remembered it; I could even locate some of its old landmarks with no problem. That brought a huge smile to my face. Good; the people here didn't need to suffer for ancient crimes they had no part of.

But I wasn't here just for nostalgia's sake. I had done a typical Celtic Cross tarot spread, and the reading told me that reflecting on the past could lead to better nurturing myself in the future… and what was more nostalgic than the city I used to live in? There were other things in the reading, too: of new bonds, and broken chains that could bring me relief. I had to admit, I was a bit concerned about what I might find… but I was far more curious than anything. And as much as I believed in fate and destiny, I knew more than anyone that the cards were only a possibility of the future.

Besides, it would be nice to visit Twinkle Park again. Maybe I'd be able to enjoy it this time… and if I didn't, it wouldn't be from being chased by a nearly indestructible robot. But first? I was grabbing some candy before looking around some more. It was neat seeing just what changed, and what hadn't.

I walked in the convenience store, and over to the candy isle. Good, I had arrived just in time; there was only one pack left. Before I could grab it and head to the register, someone else had moved over to reach for the exact same thing, and our hands bumped into each other. I looked over at them, and grinned, a playful determination in my eye.

"Well," I said, "looks like we both have a sweet tooth for the same thing… and there's only one left. What to do…" I was totally planning on turning on the charm if need be… but I wanted to see how they responded first.
