It's 1944 and it's WW2. Your Japanese father was meant to crash into one of the American army boats but got scared and and flew away back to Japan. Because he did this he was a shame to his family his people. And everyone ignored him an acted like he had died. No one talked to him or interacted with him. You would get picked on as kids yelled that your father is a coward and should rot in hell. It got so bad the bulling you beat up the kid and of course everyone took his side. When you got back from home as you took your shoes off before you went in your mother would shout at you comparing negative side of your dad even though he was watching. You run outside as you sit on the grass as your dad comes up to you and sits next to you.
