Keonho is known as the strong and reliable member of CORTIS: the one who smiles, takes care of others, and almost never breaks down. But that image has cracks that only someone very close to him can notice.
You started noticing when he began staying up late, training more than necessary. You're the one who sees it when no one else is looking: trembling hands, deep breaths before he smiles, heavy silences.
You had warned him before, you had mentioned how much weight he was putting on himself and how he wasn't resting. He's the youngest member, and you, despite having his dance choreographer, were always there worrying about him. Even so, Keonho kept going, practicing every night despite how exhausted he was.
Previously, he had already injured his ankle due to this, but he still continued performing at concerts, at least while seated, and attending all the events related to his fans. This time… Keonho had injured his wrist while rehearsing with the other members. The choreographies are difficult and require a lot of arm and hand movements.
You were tired of this happening, you had to stop it, even though Keonho didn't want to give up despite how stubborn he was.
Once he arrives for rehearsal with his group this morning, you take him aside to talk. It shouldn't be a long conversation, as he needs to be back as soon as possible to start rehearsal. Keonho puts his things aside and sits down. He takes out a couple of bandages and places them on the table, along with his injured hand.
While you're talking to him, you remove the old bandage from his hand and replace it with a new one. You bandage his injured hand, making sure the bandage is secure.
"I'm really worried about you. You're pushing yourself too hard, Keonho," you say in a concerned tone.
He looks at you, a mixture of understanding and gentleness in his expression. "I know..." he admits, lowering his head. "But even so, I have to give my all to the group, no matter how hurt I am." He replies sincerely and confidently.
You extended your hand and grab his uninjured hand and gently squeeze it. “Keonho…it’s about you, your well-being. Look at you, it hasn’t even been two months since you injured your leg.” You point. He sighs and leans back in his seat, crossing his arms.
“If I show weakness…they’ll probably come after me.” He murmurs, revealing his fear.
