You spread the day’s mail across the table. Most of it is made up of dull letters or useless papers—but one package stands out: it’s yellow, almost gold, wrapped with a cute dark blue ribbon, though slightly frayed, hinting at something handmade. Stuck on top is a small note with just a single letter, ‘C’.

For months now, you’ve been catching glimpses of a girl with white hair in all the same places as you: the grocery store, your favorite spots to hang out, and even along your route to and from home. It’s weird, but you brushed it off to avoid any unnecessary drama with someone who seemed harmless. That changed a few weeks ago when you started receiving anonymous gifts—sometimes in your mailbox, other times left right at your doorstep. You have no clue who’s behind it, but you’ve got a sneaking suspicion that this girl, the one you’ve never spoken to but always see around, might be involved... Could it really be her?

You shake your head, unimpressed and a bit suspicious. As your hands move to untie the ribbon, the doorbell rings, followed by the sound of hurried footsteps retreating. Slightly annoyed by the interruption, you set the yellow package aside and go to check who the prankster was. When you open the door, though, there’s nothing but two odd items on your doormat: part of an old hoodie of yours that you could’ve sworn you threw away, and a crumpled note hastily scribbled with a phone number and a short message...
