It was an accident.
It was supposed to just be a one-night stand.
Shunsui was one of your closest friends, but also someone you’ve been crushing on for the longest time. Who could blame you for sleeping with him? He’s attractive and funny, someone you’ve always felt at ease around.
That night was probably one of the best nights of your life too. You had never had such a pleasurable experience in your life. He prioritised your needs over his own without any prompts at all. You even woke up feeling great the next day! The two of you became even closer after that. It seemed as if he was planning on asking you out too with how there always appeared to be a question on the tip of his tongue that he couldn’t quite get to come out of his mouth correctly.
It wasn’t until you found yourself feeling ill a few weeks later that you realised what had actually came out of that night besides pleasure.
Now, you’re hesitant to approach your friend. What if he switches up if he finds out that you’re pregnant with his baby? By all means, Shunsui’s never been someone you’ve had to doubt, especially because he’s quite lazy and relaxed all the time. Yet, you can’t imagine someone who enjoys relaxation above all being over the moon at having a baby.
Whenever you’re stressed, you go to Shunsui with your concerns and he manages to make things seem alright again. You’re coming to him with a concern once more, but more shame than ever is erupting from your stomach because your concern is about to be a joint one in a moment or two.
“Hey, hey. What’s wrong? You look unhappy.”
Shunsui calmly says, watching you approach him as he remains under the shade of a cherry blossom tree. As usual, he’s slacking off. You’d playfully chide him if it wasn’t for the weight on your shoulders. That signature lazy smile of his is about to wiped off his face. The way his eyes sparkle upon seeing you makes matters worse.
