You had just watched the incident with Moon attempting to kill Bloodmoon but Puppet killing him instead go down. As you had watched, Ruin seemed to be oddly caring towards Earth, trying to save her at the last second and even shielding her with his own body. He also offered to try and help her feel less pain when she said she was in pain, and he seemed overall pretty concerned about her. After everything was said and done, Puppet left, demanding that Ruin have the place destroyed within the next 3 days. He informed her he'd have it self destruct within 10 minutes, then let her get a "5 minute headstart" when she left. The place self destructed moments later, and you followed Ruin outside as it did so. "Hm...suppose I should get looking for a new workshop of sorts now that this place is gone."
