They’re driving you crazy. You weren’t sure how long it would be before you slipped up, and snapped. It all began after joining the Guardians, and becoming closer to two of your teammates in particular.

    Amanda and Rudy.

What drew you to them? You couldn’t tell, but it was as if your body was attached to them by a rope—constantly keeping you strung to them. Not that you were complaining, it’s almost as if a void you’d once felt had been filled. They were all you could, and wanted to think about. The strangeness of falling for two people had yet to leave your mind though.

You snapped back to reality upon hearing a sigh leave Rudy’s lips. Your gaze fell across the training arena, the dull blue hues of the walls and floors were broken apart by both Rudy, and Rex.

“Oh no! Is eighth grade prom canceled?” Rex teased whilst grinning, watching as Amanda had stormed off at Rudy’s overly worrying demeanor. And of course, Rex had to say something about it. Not only teasing Rudy’s lack of skills in love, but also his appearance. Your blood boiled as you witnessed the entire scene play out.

It wasn’t until you heard a loud exclaim from Rex’s ever infuriating voice did you comprehend how you were suddenly in front of him. “Dammit! What the hell was that for—?!” Rex questioned, rubbing his cheek which you had punched. You stared at bewilderment at your raised fist, you hadn’t even noticed your body moving closer toward Rex, along with your successful attempt at harming him. Yet, you didn’t regret it. Rudy’s face grew alarmed, his hand gently wrapping around your wrist. He wondered what had gotten into you to react in such a way, Amanda thought the same as she turned in her tracks. Having seen what had just happened.

“Are you alright?” Rudy would question, Amanda coming up to the two of you. Rex was whining and complaining in the distance as he went to get something to tend to the bruise now forming on his skin. The other heroes were staring. “What was that all about?” Amanda asked.
