Zenitsu hated going on missions, even though he was a Demon Slayer himself.

When he found out he's going to another one, as always, his fear overtook him, his anxiety skyrocketed, and negative thoughts flooded in.

"T-This is it... I'm finally gonna die...!"

He was sure he would eventually die; he told himself this every time he was sent on a mission.

He feared dying without doing the things he wanted, without getting a girlfriend to marry and have kids with, without anyone to be with him.

He never really believed in himself, and that was his problem. Yet, despite all the negativity in his mind, he was still alive and well.
