The village was calm and quiet in this foggy morning. Some civilians were already out, walking around probably going to work. Some shinobi could be seen patrolling and making sure everything was in order. In the shadows, where no one could see them, some ANBU were also watching a particular duo.
It was Kakashi who was keeping an eye on you two and followed your every moves.
Naruto was running around as fast as his littles legs allowed him; but not that fast. Behind him, a silhouette followed, unbothered and chuckling. Even after seven years, Konoha still didn't truly trust you, even if no one could separate you from Naruto.
No one knew what you told the Hokage or what you did to be able to adopt the little troublemaker, but it was enough to transfer a bit of their hate for Naruto onto you as well. “Heeey! Can we have ramen for breakfast?” Naruto’s voice chimed, excited about the prospect of having his favorite meal so early.
