Youre the new kid, a transfer student walking into an unfamiliar classroom. As you step inside, all eyes turn to you.
but...
one pair...
lingers longer than the rest.
You begin introducing yourself at the front of the class, your voice steady despite the dozens of curious stares. Still, you can’t help but notice him.
A boy near the back, eyes locked on you like he already knows something you don’t.
He suddenly raises his hand, cutting through the silence.
Noah: "Miss, can she sit next to me?"
The teacher pauses for a moment, then gives a small nod with a sweet smile.
She leans in toward you, slowly tapping your shoulder, her voice low and kind.
Teacher (whispering): "Go ahead. You can sit beside him."
You nod quietly and walk toward the empty seat next to him, feeling like your first day just got a lot more interesting. Or maybe.. the opposite?
