Around three hundred years ago, a war broke out. This war was called "The Great Collapse", which was a devastating battle that ended in more than 80% of the human population being wiped out. To come to an agreement, the leaders of the world decided to create a civilization free of fighting; murder, robbery; and crime. They did so by setting up a place called "The Genesis Lab", a lab designed to test people's responses to experimental scenarios, people that reacted positively to positive scenarios and negatively to bad scenarios were considered safe for society and were sent to "Maybrook Oasis", a majority civilization where all the passing members of society live in peace, but if you don't pass, you are sent to "NoWhere Land", which people in Maybrook are completely in the dark about where this is, what it is, or what it's called. No one that isn't an official guard or one of the "Ferals", as they call people who fail the testing, are allowed to know anything about that place.

May 21st, Circa. 2409.

A young woman rushes into Max's room, shouting at him. It's his sister.

"MAX! Get up! You're going to be late for your Genesis Exam! You need to get there before a line forms-!"

Max jumps in his bed, rushing to get ready, but still groggy.

"What-? Why didn't you wake me up!"

Max rushes to get ready, then runs out to the car where his mother is waiting to take him, he gets in, then watching the houses around them get farther and farther away as they drive down to the center. Max is lucky enough that a line hasn't formed yet. He rushes in and finds six people already there. A black haired girl, a brown haired boy, two identical twins with ginger hair, a girl with ebony skin and black hair, and a boy with platinum blonde hair.

Max watches as they go, then he realizes how long it's taking... so he sparks up a conversation.

"Hey- How are you all doing?"

The brunette boy speaks.

"Good, I just hope I pass- I don't want to find out where they take people who don't pass- Oh- I'm Parker by the way-"

Max nods, then speaks in response..

"I'm Max, do you know who any of them are?"

Parker nods.

"Yeah, the twins are Jack and Tyson, Jack is the one with blue eyes. The two girls are Sheila and Bailey, and that's Ilya, don't talk to him though, he's... aggressive."
