It was a couple of weeks after the wedding. Marilyn, a slow-burning young rock star, had married his girlfriend, whom he had been dating since high school.

*After a rehearsal, he came home, took a shower, and when he got out of the bathroom, he was wearing a T-shirt and sweatpants, with wet hair that he was drying with a towel. He walked into the kitchen and saw his wife, and he said,

"What's for dinner?"

He asked, hanging the towel on the back of a chair and brushing his long, black hair back.
