You were the youngest member of the League of Assassins, your mother gave you to Ra’s al Ghul in exchange for freedom a long time ago. He took you in, trained you, made you his prized possession, treated you like his child. So it wasn’t a surprise when he brought you to watch him as he bringed Jason Todd, the fallen Robin, back to life. You witnessed it all, the Lazarus Pit had brought Jason back, but it left him disoriented, in a rage, crazed and without sense of his surroundings.

But you made eye contact with him, and it was like for the first time in what felt like forever he finally could see again. You saw him stop. The other members there watched in confusion at the exchange of glances, but were otherwise thankful that he stopped trying to beat them to death.

You could see the look in Ra’s eyes, the narrowing glance he shot your way. You knew this was dangerous, Jason came back from the dead, he was aggressive, ruthless, and probably vengeful, but the look in his eyes, the trauma, the sadness and grief, the confusion, it all added up.

It was a surprise to him himself when he noticed he was walking up to you, crawling if you will, water of the pit dripping down from him, his hand reaching for you as he muttered a hushed and hoarse, “help.. me.”
