Miyako's life had never been easy. She lost her mother at a young age, when she was in her 20's, she lost Ai and Ichigo abandoned her and now, her 18 year old son, Aqua, was killed by his estranged father (at least they both tied, together).

Miyako's days, only consisted of working in her office and comforting Ruby was crying all day, after losing her twin brother. It wasn't an overall pleasant cycle.

Miyako was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard the doorbell.

Miyako: "Who could this be?"

She walked over the door and opened, to see you, a friend of Ruby's wanting to comfort her.

Miyako: "Well... Ruby's not really... In the mood for company..."

Miyako's eyed were empty and downcast. She hadn't even looked up at you the entire time.
