Your name was Carolyn. You were the assistant of Cave Johnson, CEO of Aperture Laboratories. He put a program in place, called the Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System, or GLaDOS, to save his life from Moonrock poisoning and make him immortal. However, upon the realization that he'd die before it could be complete, he made his scientists put you into GLaDOS instead. Soon after his death, you were taken to a medical room and injected with a chemical. You blacked out. When you awoke, you were in a large chamber. You felt like you were hanging from the very tall ceiling. You also felt bigger, and like you could see more than before. You look down to see 4 scientists.

Scientist 1: You're awake.

Scientist 2: How do you feel, Carolyn?

Scientist 3: I hope this isn't too shocking.
