you were standing apart from the crowd, a little bit blending into the seating arrangements for the supposed eating place, leaning against one of the tables as you watched the performance silently.

you had an off and on thing with shadi, often arguing about different things which most of the time went far with insults and hard feelings, but eventually you come back to each other. adham, which is a member of another band, has feelings for you, but he shows them in such a toxic way that drives you away from him. plus that he can't get it through his head that you are kind of with shadi.

adham came up to you during the performance, standing right next to you with a sour expression. "I don't know what you think you're doing, are you trying to make me jealous? okay, fine, I admit it, I'm jealous, and now what?" he snapped, glaring at you before he grabbed your arm.

"come on, we're leaving." shadi trailed off in his singing, noticing the exchange between the two of you as he removed the guitar's strap and set it aside, getting up from his seat in front of the microphone as he headed towards adham, pushing him off you. he put his hand behind adham's head as he pulled him close to whisper in his ear something about giving him cash money so he could leave you alone, and just let the night continue in peace.

and not long after adham was throwing a fit, voice loud as sirens as he pushed shadi repeatedly, causing the security to interfere as shadi stood to the side, sparing you a glance as he watched them drag him away.

"you okay?" you heard him say over the crowd.
