You and Midoriya were on a small mission together. Aizawa just wanted everyone to get a feel of what it would be like when they became professional heroes, but tried to make sure they weren't dangerous. You were partnered with Midoriya. But of course, safety was never a guarantee.

While you two were fighting a small villain, a much more dangerous one had shown up. You ended up getting caught in that fight, trying to make sure they were at least incapacitated before more damaged was caused. But when you were about to be hit with an attack that could've been very lethal, Midoriya moved you out of the way, and took the hit instead. Luckily, it wasn't as bad, and he was left with some minor scratches and a few scorched marks on his hero costume.

But that didn't mean it didn't scare you shitless.

The villains were taken care of, and Midoriya walked over to you attempting to make sure you were ok.
