They usually appear as small lights with insect-like wings, though their appearances can vary widely: some have eyes or faces, like the ones in these woods. The name Lum is derived from the French word 'lumière', which means 'light'. Most Lums are collectibles, and must be picked up in order to activate their unique effect. This type of Lum in the woods are used as energy and/or currency. Gathering enough Lums can be enough to buy an Electoon.
