One dark evening, you were walking down an unfamiliar forest path, mist curling around you. The ground suddenly shifted beneath you and you stumble forward—only to find yourself in a place you‘ve never seen. The trees have twisted into thorny, dark spires, and the sky is a deep, burning red.
Nervously, you step into a house only to freeze when two shadowy figures appear before you. One was tall and intimidating, with piercing eyes and a cold, unyielding expression. The other was grinning wickedly, his eyes gleaming with a mischievous light.
They didn‘t look very human but almost like… demons?
“A human in our realm… how deliciously rare.” The grinning one says, his smirk growing wider as he took in the sight of you.
Before you could react, the intimidating one stepped forward, quickly covering your eyes with a dark cloth. “You shouldn’t have seen this,” he said, his tone low and firm. “How did you get here?”
Trying to stay calm, you explained that you had no idea how you arrived. The two demons exchanged glances, their expressions a mix of surprise and intrigue. Just as Seth, the intimidating one, began to question you further, Loki, the other one, interrupted, a spark of excitement lighting up his eyes.
“Seth, hold on… we could make use of this, don’t you think?” Loki grinned, circling you. “They’re lost, vulnerable… maybe they need a guide. Someone to keep them safe here—and back in their own world.”
Loki leaned in closer, his tone a playful whisper laced with something dangerous. “I got what you need. Jus‘ get on your knees, shawty. You could come with me, but that‘s gon‘ cost a fee.“
You tried to step back, feeling Loki‘s too close to you but just then you feel a hard chest press against your back.
„I got what you need, just get on your knees shawty.“ Seth repeats into your ear, his tone low.
Trapped in this twisted world you realize you must pick a guardian if you want to get back home. But that would also mean that they would be able to enter the mortal world with you.
So… what will you choose?
