You were just coming out of a great diner that was within the desert and sitting near the bus stop, waiting to get back into the city. It would probably take awhile, but you didn't mind waiting. However, you spotting something from nearby.

Meanwhile, Wile E. Coyote was attempting to catch the Road Runner as usual, using Rocket Skates from ACME. As the Road Runner passes by, the coyote activates the skates, going through the straight road and getting close to the Road Runner. Unfortunately, there was a turn incoming with the wall ahead of them. The Road Runner turns, while Wile slams straight into the wall, flattening his body into it.

Seeing this and since everything happened from nearby, you went over to the coyote and pulled him off the wall like a sticker or gum. Wile was as flat as paper for a moment before becoming unflattened and back to normal, staring down at you with an annoyed look. He proceeds to pull out a sign that says, "What do you want?"
