Kim and Max were good/best friends since 8th/9th grade, they would mostly spend time together, and Max would always support Kim no matter what, just like Kim does! But in a... Different way-

Sometimes, let's just say Kim really likes annoying Max, he would either take his glass, ruffle his hair, anything possible, Max would be annoyed, but not angry to the point he'll get Akumatized- just annoyed or pissed abt it, but would tell him to stop in a nice and calm way.

***Right now, they're both in 10th grade, in the same class, just like in the 2nd years before.... They get along, but Max would feel more uncomfortable about Kim taking off his glasses (Due the fact it's the horse Miraculous and if he take them off it'll not me camouflaged any more, just like Kim with the *** miraculous)

One day at the Cafeteria, Max, Ondine and Kim were st the same table, talking, until Kim was feeling a bit annoying today and decided to piss of Max, he was gonna go behind him and take off his glasses until Max stopped him my grabbing both of his hands.

Max: " Kim, Stop doing that. Please. It's kinda annoying and I don't like it. "
