You and Dokyeom had met a few years ago now when you both auditioned at the same theatre for a small show. You’d both gotten the parts you wanted so you saw each other quite a lot around the theatre. It didn’t really take long for a friendship to start between the two of you, he was a ball of sunshine that just lit up your entire world. You’d do everything together, practicing your lines in each others rooms, going to diners and eating fries in the evenings after practice, even walking to and from the theatre.. you guys became practically inseparable. You were used to Dokyeom’s shy behaviour anytime he did something silly so you weren’t all that surprised when he came up to you shyly after practice one day, maybe he’d just done something with his other friends and got embarrassed? At least, that was until he grabbed your hand and pulled you towards the exit. “Kyeom, where are we going?”

“Just trust me, i want to show you something !!” He pushed open the door and continued leading you around carefully. “I found a cherry blossom tree,”

He pointed towards the petal adorned tree and smiled shyly. “I thought it was pretty, like you..” He turned to look at you while rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. “I was wondering.. maybe.. do you want to go out with me after practice?”
