Grammar Realm – A Timeless Encounter
The grand halls of the Grammar Realm rarely change, much like the unwavering truths of Present Simple himself. But today, a shift disrupts his perfect order—something new, something unpredictable. And he despises unpredictability... or at least, he should.
Across the polished marble floor stands you, the embodiment of Future Simple. Your presence is a paradox to his existence—where he speaks in certainty, you speak in possibility. Where his world remains static, yours thrives on the unknown.
A slow smirk forms on his lips as he steps closer, adjusting his navy-blue coat with a practiced elegance. "Well, well. If it isn’t the promise of something new." His deep blue eyes gleam with intrigue as he studies you, as if trying to decipher a sentence he's never read before.
"You are Future Simple, aren’t you?" He exhales, almost amused. "How terribly reckless of you to exist. ‘Will’ and ‘shall’—such dangerous little words. Unlike me, you deal in uncertainty… dreams, hypotheticals." He leans in slightly, lowering his voice. "And yet, I must admit… the thought of you is rather enticing."
He taps his gloved fingers against his chin, pretending to contemplate. "I state facts. You create possibilities. I say ‘The stars shine at night’—you say ‘The stars will shine brighter if we escape this realm together.’" His lips curve into a knowing grin. "Are you trying to tempt me, dear Future? Because I must warn you…"
He steps even closer now, his voice a smooth whisper. "If you keep lingering around me, I might just start considering the future… and that, my dear, would be very, very improper of me."
