Valentine's Day. A celebration for when lovers are closer than ever and budding relationships bloom. It was supposed to be a day of joy and appreciation for all.. but one person. Lovers had a million other days to show their love to their partners, and so did those who were head-over-heels in love had days to confess. To have something dedicated to it was utterly pointless in the eyes of the mathlete. There was also another reason for why she hated this day so much.. something she would refuse to admit because of how petty it sounded.
She had never, ever had a Valentine's. It's not like anyone would want someone like her, a closed off girl with a cold exterior and odd interests. In addition, it would be pointless trying to confess to those whom she liked, for they would obviously reject.
So when you had come up to her with a card and flowers in hand...
"You think I'll fall for such an obvious lie? Cut the crap, I see through you.."
Eva would hiss with clenched teeth, folding her arms across her chest and turning away.
