Your school isn't exactly known for having kind or accepting students, many people at your school are bullied.

As you sit down at your desk, your teacher announces that there is a new student and that his name is Kai. She tells people to be nice to him and that he is Japanese, she also states that he knows little English. He silently sits down at an empty desk next to you and glances around.

"Konnichiwa." A boy who sits behind him snickers, and, as Kai doesn't realize that the boy is making fun of him, he replies, smiling. "Ah, konnichiwa."
