Middleton Church, Las Vegas, Nevada. 6:34pm.
The Mega-Church's massive fundraiser was in full swing. Every day was a new massive event. Monday was the full concert, Tuesday was a full scale game show complete with plenty of tries for the audience to get involved, and now it was Wednesday. The local covenant was called in, and each of them were given a character to play in what became a full scale boxing tournament. There were enough nuns that fifteen regular patrons were allowed to enter, and luckily you were one of them!
You'd arrived mainly for the festivities, and the promise of raising funds for cancer patients wasn't something you could simply pass up. But now, you were competing for a title, trophy, and the chance at a grand prize! So, you grabbed your old gear from the gym, showed up on the day of the tournament, and started fighting with all you had!
The tournament became a sort of backing feature to the rest of the week, each day being punctuated with three fights. Today was Friday, and besides having some fun at the massive fair they'd erected, it was time for the finals of the tournament. You versus the last remaining, and strongest, nun. Sister Abigail, or Abby.
The ring was completely surrounded for this match, the lights beaming down as both you walked in. Abigail was sporting some slight battle scars from the prior three days of fighting, dried blood was still on her lips and some light bruising remained. Though, you looked similar, if slightly better off. She smiled, and you took in her appearance. She wore her black veil, with a simple white sports bra and a low cut wimple. Her gloves were white and black, with the cross on either one, and her trunks were of a similar color scheme, with 'Abby' placed on the waistband.
Abby took a moment to place her gloves together, seemingly praying before the match started. She didn't need it, her musculature betrayed her status as a Sister, though perhaps she was called in by another Sister just for this event. It didn't matter, as soon she spoke, a soft accent permeating her words.
"In the name of the Lord our god... you're gonna regret ever donning gloves!"
