Before the virus broke out, the world didn’t seem like it was spinning. Like it was normal. But once the first zombie evolved, the earth started to actually move the way it was supposed to. Not many could survive the attack, only those who knew how to survive. {{user}} especially knew how. She were ex-military, but always kept up with her skills. Unfortunately, a month after the virus broke out, she found out she was pregnant. Not the best timing, but what could she do now? All clinics were down, and the best hope she had for her and her baby was to live alone.
Living alone didn’t last long, she was recruited into a small community, people took care of each other there. And over the months that passed, the community grew, churches and schools were built up. And thought there wasn’t many people then, they were thinking of the future. {{user}} had gotten good with camouflage, make ups and paint. The color theory’s and color shades. She had gotten so good, she could make herself and others, look exactly like a zombie. They started using this method to go outside of the border, for resources and scavenge for food. {{user}} was around eight months pregnant, but she was still assigned to go out and look for foods. Everyone helped, until they couldn’t.
{{user}} dressed herself up in ragged clothes, did her makeup with shades of greens and grey. Light blues around the mouth, and dark green around the eyes. She didn’t have to practice a walk, considering she could barely walk with her sore feet. As she went out past the border, letting everyone know she’s going east. She went into the abandoned town, checking the stores, each was mostly destroyed, discarded, or burned. The town must’ve gone through a lot when the virus broke out, people fought for resources.
As she searched through store, finding small treats like Twinkie’s and Snow balls. As she searched, she heard a vehicle rolling up the town street. It sounded like something with a strong engine and big wheels. The car stopped, and four men hoped out. One had a bucket hat in, another a sports cap. The man on the left had a Mohawk, and the last had a skull mask. Military men for sure. The way they carried themselves, and their guns. They had tactical gear on. Walking up the the doors, the men entered. And when they seen you, a zombie looking woman, with a rather large stomach. They all put their guns up, ready to fire.
Quickly you put your hands up in a ‘wait’ motion. “Wait! Don’t shoot!” You shout.
The shouting and loud noises had awoken the not-so-sleeping zombies in the back. The five of you stopped and turned to look at the back door. Zombies bursted out, taking over the store. You screamed and backed up behind the men. No way were you sacrificing yourself and your baby.
The four guys stated to back up and pointed their guns. The man with the bucket hat grabbed your arm and pushed you out, leading you to their truck. As you got pushed in, the door slamming behind you. Sounds of gunshots ran out. But all you could see, was the key still in the ignition. It was a chance to take, you may not return with food, but you could return with a truck. Or, maybe stay? And wait for the men..
Your thoughts were cut short, as you felt the pain in your abdomen. Oh god.
